This song...

My Mom has not stopped singing this song ever since she went to see Les Miserables with Dad and the Ethridges...

It is stuck in all of our heads.
Just thought I'd share that with you all.

Back to the coast!

After being away from the coast for quite awhile we are now close to it again and find that it is our favorite place to be on our road trip thus far.. (close to the coastal areas)  After leaving Orlando area we drove an hour in half west and stayed in Largo, Fl for a week.  Although we layed low and healed from colds and got back to our normal routine of schooling were were able to visit Clearwater Beach a couple times.

We left Largo at 6pm Fri evening and drove South 2.5 hrs to Fort Myers, Florida.  Our Rv park is located 2 miles from Fort Myers Beach and 5 miles from Sanibel Island.  Happy to be feeling better, we were able to visit Sanibel Island Beach Sat.afternoon and Fort Myers Beach Sun.afternoon.  Being by the coast in Florida is very nice,  it is less humid and temps stay around 68 to 80 degrees.  Its beautiful and we love it here.

It is Monday and we are back to school today... after 2 days visiting the coast the boys are finding it hard to focus, feels like summer. :)

Here are our pics thus far, (copy and paste link below)... just added two more albums!

Last few weeks

Hey everyone! As you can tell we haven’t been on here for a while.  I guess I’ll pick up where my mom left off. On January 5th we returned to our Thousand Trails camp site (3 lots to the left of it actually) at night, in the drizzly rain. Those next two weeks were quite eventful.

1. Come to find out, when it rained, the rain was leaking through a few of the rooftop corners.. so we had to put two tarps up there until it was dry enough to put some sealant in the holes. We also had a few other miscellaneous issues that Camping World (cough* cough* kind of) fixed for us.

2. We were with the Ethridges again! Stas, Sergei, and Avery all slept outside in a tent almost for the whole 2 weeks. I slept in my bed :P You could tell Avery really enjoyed being with other boys again after being out of it for like a year. It was really nice being with them for so long and we are hoping to meet up with them again sometime before returning to Coeur d’Alene.

3. Mr. Heistuman dropped on by! We all had a barbeque at the Ethridges place, took a walk through some R.V.s on sale, and went to see Parental Guidance at the theaters. Coming out of the theaters with Mr. Heistuman there, my mom and I both felt like we were back in CDA coming out of Regal Cinemas. It was weird J If you are reading this, thanks for stopping by! It was great having you.

4. Disney World! First off thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for buying our tickets! And thank you to the Ethridges for being our tour guides all three days J The first day Dad and I (with all the Ethridges) went to Epcot, went on some rides, and traveled to different countries. Later on in the day we each got a drink from Japan J Day two I went to Hollywood Studios with the Ethridge boys and Mr. Ethridge. We ended up riding The Tower of Terror like, 6 or 7 times and rode Aerosmith’s Rockin’ Rollercoaster a few times. Day Three: Mrs. Ethridge, the Ethridge boys, and Mom ‘n I went to Magic Kingdom. Rode a lot of rides, had some ice cream, and watched the afternoon parade. That night we stayed for the fireworks and the Cinderella Castle show thingy. It was pretty amazing. They even put the Wreck-It-Ralph game up there! J A few day later me and my mom were both sick. Haha oh well, it was fun. The ticket prices were WAY too expensive, but we had a good time. Thanks again Grandpa and Grandma.

Last Friday we packed up, exchanged goodbyes with the Ethridges, and took off for Largo, where we are at currently. On Sunday we went to church at Lakeside Community Chapel and listened to a sermon about handling stress. The pastor went through Psalm 3. Here is the sermon if you want to listen to it. After church we drove to a beach in Clearwater, walked to Ron Jon’s (J), and had some food at a nearby restaurant. On our way out we drove by the Clearwater Aquarium where the movie “Dolphin Tale” was filmed. It was really weird to see.

Right now we are just chillin, doing school, dad workings, and Ave and Mom are still getting over being sick. We might go to the beach sometime later today. Tomorrow we are leaving for Fort Meyers at around 5pm which will be around 2pm for you up in Idaho.

Update... (still in Orlando, Fl area)

We pulled into Orlando Thousand Trails Rv Park in Clermont, Florida on Dec.15th.  We have enjoyed our two week stay here and were able to have some fellowship time getting to know the Ethridge family. (Chuck and Christina and their 4 boys).  After being on the road with not much interaction it has been nice to have friends to hang out with. Our boys get along great and really enjoy having each other. :)  We had a quiet Christmas in our trailer and ended our evening with some ping-pong, air hockey and foosball at the lodge.  Our two week stay came to an end on Dec.29th as our membership rules say we need to be out of the thousand trail parks for one week before coming back.  So we are now staying a week at an rv park about 5 miles down the road. We will then return Sat.Jan.5th for another two week stay at Thousand Trails Orlando before deciding where we want to go from there.  Since being here, the Ethridges have taken us on an evening to see a couple Disney Resorts and we have experienced a Fork and Dine movie, (which is a dinner with movie experience).  We saw The Hobbit with the kids, and then us adults went and saw Les Miserable.  Beth, Loni and Nolan (our cousins) were here in town for volleyball and Disney World so we were able to have a quick visit and dinner with them.  In the following couple weeks we hope to take a couple days trips over to the coast and see more of Florida.  Also, Devin and I might get the opportunity to go to Disney World (Magic Kingdom), but we'll see. :)

We are very thankful for this time God has given us as a family.  There are many things that we are healing from, and we are so blessed and grateful for Gods daily grace, forgiveness and love, and the opportunity to grow even more.
