We set sail on our first journey at noon yesterday. We had two options for the night. First option was beautiful Memaloose state park near the Columbia river. Second option was Walmart in Troutdale, Or. Naturally the Walmart took preference ;). Pulling the trailer went well although there were some bursts of wind that tossed us about here and there. There was an interesting noise from under the hood that caused some anxiety for a couple minutes. Might be something to look into.
Upon arrival at Walmart we found a quiet spot to park, went in to buy water and immediately noticed the difference in people. Jenn and I were brought back to living in San Jose. Bigger city equals more ethnicity.
Doing a devotional this morning and heading over to my brothers place in Portland to visit for a few hours before heading to the coast.
